ROSWOLD RECEIVES $1000
SCHOLARSHIP
DaeLynne Roswold, a graduate of Big Sandy High School received the 20th
annual Double El Conservation District Scholarship for $1000 with a renewable
option of $500. DaeLynne graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was involved in numerous
activities during her high school career including volleyball, basketball, track
and dance team, along with many school club and organizations such as Matchwits,
Drama Forensics, Future Business Leader of America, National Honor Society,
Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Council. She received many honors
and recognitions for her accomplishments. She has also been an active member of
her church youth group and the activities associated with the organization.
When DaeLynne was in elementary school,
she helped her Grandpa, the late Steve Evanoika of Triple D Tree Service, plant
trees, lay weed barrier and install living snow fences for the Double El CD.
DaeLynn plans to attend University of
Colorado at Boulder where she will pursue a degree in Pre-Law with aspirations
of becoming a lawyer. She is the daughter of Melanie and Mike Roswold of Ramah.
