Represent private and public landowners bringing together state, federal, and private sector dollars and resources to solve Colorado's natural resource problems. Working to prevent soil erosion, conserve and develop water resources, improve water quality, control flooding, preserve wildlife habitat, improve croplands, rangelands, and forests.
Mission Statement: Local Group organized to assist ranchers/farmers and other land users to accomplish their conservation goals now and for the future through educational, financial and technical assistance.
Serving Parts of El Paso, Elbert, & Lincoln Counties covering 647,000 acres.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Agate Soil Conservation District is to provide information and assistance to land users in the wise use and conservation of our soil , water and other natural resources to achieve sustained agriculture production for current and future generations.
